MARIO CABRERA, P.E.

Mario Cabrera has over 25 years of construction experience and has worked for the Department for over 27 years. He has served as the District Six Construction Engineer for the past 8 years. Mario is responsible for delivering the construction program for District Six that includes all FDOT construction projects in Miami-Dade and Monroe County (Florida Keys). This represents over 1.4 billion dollars in active construction contracts and over 50 active construction contracts in District Six.

He has been involved in many key projects over his tenure at the Department including Palmetto Reconstruction Projects, Krome Avenue Reconstruction Projects, Bridge Rehabilitation Projects and most recently, I-395 Signature Bridge Project.
