About

The Minority Enterprise Development Week (MEDWeek) Conference is the nation’s premier event for small and minority businesses, at the national, regional and local levels. Florida’s MEDWeek in Florida is observed and hosted under the auspices of the MBDA, U.S. Department of Commerce, the MBDA Export Center – Florida, operated by M. Gill & Associates, Inc. Our primary strategic partners and sponsors of MEDWeek 2018 are the National MBDA in Washington, DC, City of Miami, Miami-Dade Aviation, Miami-Dade County’s Economic and International Trade Department, U.S. Small Business Administration, Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, and Enterprise Florida.
MEDWeek is designed to help small, minority, women and veteran-owned firms succeed in the local and global markets, by providing cutting-edge information and resources, as well as domestic and international business matchmaker meetings and networking opportunities.  MEDWeek offers a unique opportunity for small, minority, women and veteran businesses to hone their management and branding skills, and gain greater access to capital, contracts and global markets.  Corporations, government departments, financial institutions and economic development agencies attend and support MEDWeek each year to increase their diversity spend, expand their base of diverse business contacts, and connect with prospective vendors and firms eligible to pursue their specialized financing programs,  and bid on upcoming procurement opportunities.
MEDWeek also provides a business-for-fun environment when we proudly honor MBEs and Advocates who, year after year, provide cutting-edge solutions to business problems, increase exports, create jobs and contribute to the economic growth of our communities and our nation.
We’re glad you’re here.  Now, please register to support and take advantage of this year’s reservoir of growth opportunities.  Thank you.
